Every country and major multinational corporation are represented with their own variables and functions. The calculation and scenario engines include more than 150,000 facts and figures, 20,000 texts, and 12 hours of recorded dialog. An ultra-detailed and animated 3D map with vegetation, bodies of water, every border, regions, production facilities, and important strategic sites around the world become your playground.
The game combines management stages of economics, commerce, wargames, construction, espionage, simulation, and political influence and manipulation.
You can opt to control one or more countries or one or more major corporations simultaneously and devise collaborative strategies to change your own destiny or the world's. Game sessions are customizable in several ways: activity level of terrorist organizations, probability of natural disasters, reactions of the people, outbreak of wars... More than twenty contextual scenarios with current events from today's world are integrated.
The game engine includes over 600 data elements for each of the 175 playable countries and calculates their changes in real time throughout the game based on players’ actions. Some examples include popularity ratings, political relations, and economic exchanges between countries. More than 3000 major worldwide companies are included along with their real world data and several thousand others are simulated for all economic sectors and all the countries of the world. The simulator technology of Geopolitical Simulator is used by various organizations for instruction or training purposes, including NATO.
2026 EDITION NEW FEATURES
• Simulations 2026 and 2025
The game offers the possibility to start the campaign at the beginning of 2026 or at the beginning of 2025, as either a leader or an opponent.
Both historical contexts are recreated with updated corresponding economic data (unemployment, inflation, budget, population, growth, currency rates…), the annual events calendar, and the specific changes for the year 2025 (conflicts, financial agency ratings, Nobel Prizes, FIFA ranking…).
Governments and parliaments are accurately reproduced for both periods, with their political orientation and the composition of their ministerial team.
• Tourism Simulation
Hyper-detailed with lots of data provided from every country of the world: number of international tourists, domestic tourists, revenue, sector employment, major multinational companies, most visited cities and sites, national parks, places designated as UNESCO world heritage sites.
Various components are taken into account in the calculation of tourist attractiveness that the player can develop as head of state or CEO of a tourism business by building, subsidizing, budgeting, or influencing...natural wealth, cultural wealth, international events, cost of living, tourism infrastructures (seaside, leisure, mountain), accommodation packages, quality of transportation, public safety, highway safety, terrorism risk, climate, cuisine, risk of natural disaster, sanitation, human rights...
On the game map, tourism constructions are represented in 3D, and as the head of a company in that sector, the player can build more. A tourism map has been added, displaying tourism evaluations by region.
Two themed scenarios are included: "City of Lights" where the player must become the most visited city in the world, and "Tourism Development" where the player aims to become one of the top 10 tourist destinations.
